Return, Refund & Replacement Policy
At The Soft Edit Studio, we want you to love what you wear. If something isn’t right, here’s how we handle returns, refunds, and replacements.
Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Item Received
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or you receive the wrong item, we offer a full refund, including original shipping charges.
To raise a claim, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the issue
- A continuous unboxing video showing the sealed package being opened
Important
To help us verify transit-related issues fairly and quickly, an unboxing video is required for:
- Damage claims
- Wrong item claims
- Missing item claims
The video must:
- Be continuous and unedited
- Start from the sealed package
- Clearly show the product being opened and inspected
Claims without an unboxing video may not be eligible for refund or replacement.
Once approved, refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.
30-Day Replacement Warranty
(For Products Priced ₹999 & Above)
Products priced at ₹999 or above are covered by a 30-day replacement warranty from the date of delivery against:
- Manufacturing defects
- Loose stones
- Faulty clasps or findings
- Excessive plating peeling or unusual tarnishing under normal use
This is a replacement-only warranty.
Refunds or store credits are not offered under warranty claims.
Raising a Warranty Request
Please contact us through WhatsApp or email with:
- Order number
- Photos/videos of the issue
- A short description of the concern
Once approved:
- Reverse pickup will be arranged where applicable
- Replacement will be dispatched after the original product is received and verified
- If the same design is unavailable, you may select another product of equal value
We always aim to handle genuine concerns fairly and reasonably.
Products Under ₹999
Our entry-level collection is currently being tested for long-term wear performance.
Products priced below ₹999 are eligible for refund or replacement only in cases of:
- Damage during transit
- Wrong item received
- Defect on arrival
Claims must be raised within 48 hours of delivery along with an unboxing video.
What Is Not Covered
The following are not covered under our refund or replacement policy:
- Normal wear and tear over time
- Damage caused by perfumes, lotions, chemicals, sweat, water exposure beyond normal use, or improper storage
- Accidental damage or misuse
- Minor variations in colour or finish due to lighting or screen settings
- Personalized or made-to-order products once production has started
- Sale items or free gifts
- Claims raised outside the eligible timelines
- Requests based on personal preference, sizing issues, or change of mind
Please review product photos, descriptions, and dimensions carefully before placing your order.
Cancellations
Orders may only be cancelled before dispatch.
Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled or modified.
Personalized or made-to-order products cannot be cancelled once production has started.
Refund Timelines
Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.
Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time for the amount to reflect in your account.
